Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
  • Present menus and explain available dishes, beverages, and daily specials.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and according to restaurant service standards.
  • Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction.
  • Respond politely to customer questions, requests, and concerns.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff, cashiers, and other service team members.
  • Prepare tables, arrange cutlery, and ensure the dining area is clean and presentable.
  • Clear used dishes and reset tables for the next guests.
  • Follow food hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
  • Assist with billing and payment processing when required.
  • Report customer complaints or service issues to the supervisor.
  • Support opening, closing, and other restaurant service duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a restaurant, hotel, café, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
  • Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic English proficiency; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Friendly personality and a professional approach to guest service.
  • Ability to take orders accurately and follow instructions.
  • Good teamwork, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy food and beverage environment.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food-handling practices is an advantage.
  • Ability to handle customer requests and complaints politely.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, according to the work schedule.
  • Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods and carry serving trays where required.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Dubai, UAE.
