Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and coordinating daily construction activities.
- Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
- Assist with preparing work plans, material requirements, and progress reports.
- Identify project delays, technical issues, and coordination challenges and report them to management.
- Monitor civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with site supervisors and subcontractors.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignments, and construction workmanship as required.
- Monitor concrete works, masonry, reinforcement, formwork, and other civil activities relevant to the project.
- Ensure that materials and construction methods meet project requirements.
- Report discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with the responsible team.
- Maintain daily site records and progress updates.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Additional training in construction management, project planning, quality control, or health and safety is an advantage.
- Knowledge of applicable civil engineering standards, construction practices, and technical documentation.
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience as a Civil Engineer or in a related construction engineering role is preferred.
- Experience in building construction, infrastructure, site supervision, or project coordination is an advantage.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, site inspections, quantity calculations, and progress reporting.
- UAE construction experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fresh graduates may be considered for junior-level positions where appropriate.
