Banquet service responsibilities
- Provide personalized food and beverage service at banquets, private functions, and special events.
- Set up venues to event specifications, including table settings, service stations, and equipment; clear and reset venues after events.
- Serve food and beverages in line with service standards, menus, and event requirements.
- Anticipate guest needs, respond to requests, and accommodate dietary preferences and special requirements.
- Coordinate with banquet supervisors, kitchen, bar, and service teams for smooth and timely operations.
- Maintain presentation, cleanliness, and organization throughout events.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and responsible beverage service regulations.
- Replenish service stations, manage equipment, and support banquet function execution.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel, high-end restaurant, or premium events environment is sought.
- Candidates should understand refined food and beverage service and guest expectations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed to provide attentive, discreet, personalized guest service.
- Knowledge of banquet operations, table settings, event coordination, and hygiene practices is expected.
- Candidates should work collaboratively and adapt to fast-paced events and guest requirements.
- A hospitality management qualification or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
