The regulator seeks a VP, Supervision for land-based casinos, based in its Abu Dhabi office.
The role oversees casino supervision to ensure regulatory compliance, maintain gaming-industry integrity, and protect players.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a supervision strategy aligned with organizational objectives and priorities.
- Establish risk-based frameworks and methods to monitor and evaluate gaming operators and licensees.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of gaming establishments for compliance.
- Track operators and licensees, identify non-compliance, and recommend corrective or enforcement measures.
- Analyze data and KPIs to identify trends, anomalies, and risks to industry integrity.
- Prepare findings and recommendations for senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate with regulators, law enforcement, and industry associations.
- Advise on regulatory standards and contribute to gaming regulations, policies, and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in regulatory compliance, land-based casino supervision, or related gaming-industry or regulatory-agency roles; strong knowledge of gaming laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as law, business, or public administration.
- Familiarity with supervision frameworks, methodologies, and risk-based approaches.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; effective leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as CRCM or CGCS are desirable.
