Position Summary

The Delivery & Handover Specialist plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience during the final stage of the vehicle purchase journey.

This position is responsible for preparing vehicles for delivery, conducting professional handovers, explaining key vehicle features, and ensuring all documentation and processes are completed accurately.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a positive last impression for the brand.

Delivery Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate vehicle delivery and handover appointments in line with showroom sales targets, logistics schedules, and PDI readiness.
  • Liaise with Sales Team, Logistics, PDI, and Sales Administration to ensure seamless delivery execution (including recoveries where applicable).
  • Proactively communicate with customers on delivery timelines, including advance notice of any delays or changes in requirements/specifications.

Vehicle Readiness & Documentation

  • Ensure vehicles are prepared for handover and meet brand presentation standards prior to delivery.
  • Ensure all delivery documents are accurately completed and recorded (handover checklists, delivery notes, extended warranty documents, etc.).
  • Support coordination of registration/insurance completion in collaboration with sales administration and advisors.

Customer Handover & Product Expertise

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle features, innovations, and operational controls.
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle handovers, explaining key features, technologies, controls, and ownership guidance clearly and confidently.
  • Ensure customers are informed of available extras, accessories, and warranty options in line with company guidelines.

Customer Experience & Aftercare

  • Provide the highest level of customer service in accordance with company policies to maximize customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Handle customer questions during handover.
  • Introduce customers to the Service Department to support a smooth aftersales transition and long-term relationship.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in vehicle deliveries, customer service, showroom operations, or automotive aftersales is preferred.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and process compliance.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and manage schedules under pressure.
  • Strong product knowledge mindset and willingness to continuously learn vehicle technologies.
  • Professional, confident, and service-oriented approach.
