The role calls for prior experience and deep knowledge of financial instruments, capital markets, and business.
Responsibilities
- Value debentures with embedded derivatives, options, structured products, contingent considerations, management equity plans, commodity contracts, private credit, and venture capital.
- Manage concurrent client engagements and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
- Research valuation methods, industry trends, and technical topics to support analysis and client deliverables.
- Contribute to pursuit teams and proposal development.
- Lead valuation teams, coach staff, support development, and share technical knowledge across the PwC network.
- Build client credibility through subject expertise and maintain internal stakeholder relationships.
What you'll bring
- Completed Master of Mathematical Finance or equivalent postgraduate qualification in a quantitative or finance discipline.
- Experience in valuations, leveraged finance, banking, or risk management.
- In-depth understanding of mathematical models for pricing securities, private investments, and capital markets.
- Experience leading and supervising diverse teams and coaching staff.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, project management, communication, and client-interaction skills.
- CFA, FRM, or PRM designation is an asset.
- Python, R, Visual Basic, or SQL experience is an asset.
Compensation
- The posted salary range is $112,400–$162,400; hiring range may vary by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and other factors.
- Eligible employees may have variable incentive pay opportunities.
