Role overview
Advise customers on travel options, help them choose suitable routes and airlines, process tickets, and support sales targets and repeat patronage.
Customer travel and sales
- Recommend travel routes and airlines according to customer budgets and needs, and process tickets in time for travel.
- Propose cost-saving options and add-on services such as airport pickups and hotel accommodation.
- Maintain customer booking details, frequent traveler numbers, and meal or seat preferences to personalize service.
Administration and service improvement
- Follow ticketing and cash or cheque collection procedures to prevent discrepancies and disputes.
- Collect customer feedback after travel to assess service quality and identify improvements.
- Follow up with customers on overdue payments.
- Keep product knowledge and information on travel-industry developments, rules, and regulations up to date.
Qualifications and experience
- Intermediate or A Level education is required.
- Three to five years of travel-industry experience is required.
- IATA certification is advantageous.
