Job Description
To supervise the professional support given to internal and external customers, accurately identify their parts requirements, and assist them to make cost-benefit purchasing decisions to achieve or exceed budgeted sales targets.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
- Attend to customer enquiries, check availability of required parts, and organize delivery within prescribed standard time.
- Source parts from other locations if not in stock to meet urgent customer requirements, or order through inventory department for delivery at an agreed date.
- Prepare Sales Return Note if a sold item is returned; adjust stock and payments accordingly.
- Promote sale of accessories with all customers to increase sales and profitability.
- Contribute towards coordination of promotions and campaigns relating to seasonal products and slow-moving inventory.
- Make regular visits to all credit customers to ensure business continuity and resolve outstanding customer issues.
- Handle escalated customer complaints relating to delay in supply or supply of defective, damaged, or wrong parts, and redress grievances.
- Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure continuous development for higher-level roles.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Automobile Engineering or similar field.
- 5+ years total relevant experience.
- 1-2 years supervisory experience.
