Trade Finance & Banking Manager
About This Role
One of the global trading company specializing ferrous/non ferrous metal is seeking to hire a Trade Finance Manager with their operations based in Dubai.
The incumbent should acts as the financial backbone of trading operations, ensuring that all commodity trades are efficiently funded, documented, and settled. In a metals trading business dealing with high-value, cross-border transactions, this role is critical for maintaining liquidity, minimizing financial risk, and enabling seamless execution between traders, suppliers, and global banking partners.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage relationships with multiple international banks.
- Secure and negotiate trade finance facilities (LCs, trust receipts, import/export loans).
- Act as the key point of contact for all financing-related matters.
- Manage the full cycle of trade payments—imports, exports, and financing settlements.
- Ensure timely negotiation of documents and realization of funds.
- Handle instruments like LC negotiation, discounting, and trade loans.
- Streamline trade finance workflows for speed and accuracy.
- Implement controls to reduce errors and enhance audit readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement in coordination between team.
Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor's degree.
- PG qualification in Finance is preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in management cadre with a strong stakeholder relationship management.
- Have working experience in Metals trading operations (Ferrous/Non-Ferrous).
- Should be a Cross border financial acumen.
