Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Emirati Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join one of our client for their flagship projects in Dubai.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for a young engineering professional to gain hands-on experience in geotechnical design, soil and rock analysis, field investigations, and site coordination within a leading multinational organization.
The Junior Geotechnical Engineer will play an important role in ensuring safe, high-quality, and code-compliant foundation and ground engineering solutions across complex developments that contribute to the countries growing infrastructure and urban landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Perform geotechnical design for foundations, retaining structures, and slope stability, using both hand calculations and geotechnical software under supervision of Senior Engineers
Perform analysis of geotechnical data and interpretation of soil and rock parameters.
Participate in supervision of field and laboratory works to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
Participate in site visits during the construction phase to monitor groundworks, assess geotechnical conditions, and ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
Ensure geotechnical designs comply with applicable standards in the Middle East (e.g., Eurocode, AASHTO, BS, ASTM) and project specifications.
Ensure geotechnical designs prioritize safety and comply with HSE standards.
Develop R&D initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of design practices.
Qualifications
Graduate in Civil Engineering (preferable Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering)
Knowledge of international codes and local regulations
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Geotechnical software
