Main purpose
Provide and coordinate patient-centred, evidence-based nursing care in compliance with ethical and professional standards set by regulators and the company.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver quality patient care with the multidisciplinary team according to clinical standards and relevant legislation.
- Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and legislation.
- Promote positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment guided by nursing leadership.
- Supervise, mentor and coach learners and nursing employees to build competence and contribute to a learning environment.
Required education and experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is essential.
- Valid BLS, ACLS and PALS certificates are required.
- At least two years of experience in the candidate’s own country is essential.
- At least three years of recent or current experience assisting with major surgeries, including general surgery, urology, OBGYN, laparoscopic surgery, ENT and other specialties, is desired.
- UAE experience is beneficial.
Required skills and knowledge
- Basic Arabic language skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
