Improve the overall quality of patient care by efficiently performing patient administration duties.
Key responsibilities
- Manage patient appointment scheduling and registration efficiently.
- Manage medical insurance processes and related tasks.
- Manage billing and cash-up processes.
- Meet customer service expectations and improve the quality of patient service.
Essential education and experience
- Completed secondary school education (Grade 12) is essential.
- 2–3 years of customer services experience is essential; healthcare industry experience is preferred.
Desired qualifications and experience
- A tertiary diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in medical science, finance, or accounting, is desired.
- Contact centre or healthcare environment experience is desired.
Job skills and knowledge
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- CRM applications and hospital information systems.
- Knowledge of company policies and emergency codes, medical insurance processes, medical terminology and procedures, numerical literacy, and patient scheduling and registration processes.
