Improve the overall quality of patient care by efficiently performing patient administrator duties.
The role is based at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibility areas
- Manage patient appointment scheduling and registration efficiently.
- Manage the medical insurance process and related tasks.
- Manage billing and cash-up processes.
- Improve the quality of patient service and consistently meet customer service expectations.
Education and experience
- Completed secondary school education (Grade 12) is essential.
- A tertiary diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in medical science, finance or accounting, is desired.
- 2–3 years of customer services experience is essential; contact centre or healthcare experience is desired.
Required job skills and knowledge
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- CRM software applications and hospital information systems.
- Knowledge of company policies and emergency codes.
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and processes, medical terminology and procedures, numerical literacy, and patient scheduling and registration processes.
