Role overview

Responsibilities

• Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, and other floor and wall tiles in bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, balconies, and other spaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and leveling them and applying suitable adhesives or mortar.
• Measure and mark layouts; cut and shape tiles to fit corners, edges, drains, pipes, and fixtures.
• Maintain alignment, spacing, level, and slope, especially in wet areas; grout and seal joints.
• Prepare for waterproofing when required and coordinate with the waterproofing team.
• Install skirting tiles and finish edges around doors, corners, and fixtures.
• Replace damaged tiles, perform repairs, inspect completed work, and correct defects or uneven surfaces.
• Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors; maintain tools, follow site safety procedures, keep the area clean, and meet project schedules and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven Tile Mason experience in construction, renovation, or interior fit-out projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of floor and wall tile installation.
• Ability to use tile cutters, grinders, leveling tools, and other tiling equipment.
• Knowledge of measurements, tile patterns, alignment, grouting, accurate levels, and drainage slopes in wet areas.
• Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to work independently and with a team.
• Willingness to work at different project sites across Dubai.
• Experience with ceramic, porcelain, and large-format tiles is preferred; previous UAE renovation or fit-out experience is an advantage.

Preferred project experience

• Preferred experience includes bathroom and kitchen renovations, shower areas, floor drains, wet-area tiling, large-format porcelain, decorative patterns, tile replacement, repairs, grouting, finishing, and villa or apartment renovations.

Compensation

• The posting lists pay of AED 1,500 to AED 2,300 per month.

Work location

• Work is in person at project sites across Dubai.
