Painter / Finishing Painter

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Carry out interior and exterior painting for residential renovation and fit-out projects.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, filling cracks, repairing minor defects, and applying putty.
• Apply primers, sealers, undercoats, and finishing coats as required.
• Paint walls and ceilings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment where appropriate.
• Perform smooth finishing, edge cutting, corner finishing, and detailed touch-ups.
• Match paint colors and shades to client requirements and approved samples.
• Repaint, repair, and complete final touch-ups after carpentry, gypsum, and other installation work.
• Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces before painting.
• Inspect work for consistent color, smooth surfaces, and quality; rectify defects and complete snagging before handover.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades; maintain tools and materials and follow site safety procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter or Finishing Painter in construction, renovation, or interior fit-out projects.
• Good knowledge of surface preparation, putty application, sanding, priming, and painting techniques.
• Ability to achieve smooth, uniform finishes without visible marks, uneven patches, or paint runs.
• Experience painting walls, ceilings, doors, and trim; knowledge of paint types, materials, and application methods.
• Ability to identify and rectify surface defects.
• Good attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work at different project sites across Dubai.
• UAE residential renovation or fit-out experience is an advantage.

Preferred experience

• Villa and apartment renovation projects, luxury interior finishing, or decorative painting.
• Putty application, crack filling, sanding, and surface leveling.
• Final touch-ups, snagging, and handover preparation.
• Experience working alongside carpenters, gypsum workers, and MEP teams.

Pay

• Pay is AED 1,800–2,000 per month.

• Work is in person.
