Auxilium Services is supporting a UAE organisation in hiring an experienced Mechanical Testing and Commissioning Engineer.
The work focuses on HVAC and mechanical systems, preferably in data centres, mission-critical facilities, or large construction projects.
Location is UAE—Dubai or Abu Dhabi; immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Test, commission, and functionally verify mechanical and HVAC systems.
- Commission chillers, chilled water systems, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, and CRAH and CRAC units.
- Inspect systems, test equipment performance, troubleshoot, and identify faults.
- Support functional performance testing (FPT) and integrated systems testing (IST).
- Review mechanical drawings, P&IDs, specifications, procedures, and equipment documentation.
- Verify pressure, temperature, flow rates, and system performance.
- Coordinate with BMS teams to validate control sequences, alarms, and system integration.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test sheets, snag lists, and handover documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience in mechanical testing and commissioning.
- Technical expertise in HVAC, chilled water systems, pumps, chillers, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Data-centre or mission-critical project experience is highly preferred.
- Understanding of FPT, IST, commissioning procedures, and system performance verification.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and equipment parameters.
- Strong troubleshooting, fault identification, and problem-solving skills.
- Dubai or Abu Dhabi residence is preferred; immediate availability or a flexible notice period is prioritised.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 8,000 per month.
Work location
- In person; the stated UAE locations are Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
