Experienced Mechanical Site Engineer role supporting data centre projects in the UAE.
The hiring consultancy is seeking strong expertise in HVAC systems, chilled water infrastructure, mechanical installations, and site supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily mechanical installation activities on data centre construction sites.
- Ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance, installation quality, and project progress.
- Review mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and technical queries.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and engineering teams.
- Review testing and commissioning procedures and support site coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in mechanical site engineering, construction supervision, and technical inspections.
- Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Experience with HVAC ductwork systems and standby generator fuel systems.
- Ability to review shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and method statements.
- Familiarity with mechanical testing and commissioning procedures.
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and contractor coordination skills.
Compensation and employment
- Full-time employment.
- Pay starts at AED 2,400 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
- Projects are in the UAE.
