Technology Engineer role in building services at an engineering consultancy in Dubai.
The employer seeks an experienced engineer with design, technical coordination, and project delivery experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage small engineering projects and coordinate design delivery.
- Develop designs, specifications, calculations, and technical drawings.
- Design and specify control systems, instrumentation, and operating systems for building engineering services.
- Conduct surveys, inspections, and assessments of existing installations.
- Ensure designs meet applicable British Standards and industry requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams.
- Review technical inputs prepared by graduate and intermediate engineers.
- Support project management, QA/QC, technical reviews, and project delivery.
Key requirements
- Degree, HND, or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Building-services project experience in engineering design, specifications, and drawings.
- Strong understanding of building engineering systems, controls, and instrumentation.
- Good knowledge of British Standards and relevant engineering regulations.
- Working towards or holding MCIBSE/MIEE membership or equivalent professional recognition.
- Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
- Consultancy or construction experience is preferred.
- Strong technical coordination, communication, and project management skills; hands-on design experience in an established building-services consultancy is prioritized.
Compensation
- The description states pay from AED 10,000 per hour.

- Full-time role in Dubai, UAE.
- Work location is in person.
