Full-time, non-management Audio Visual Technician role at The Ritz-Carlton in Doha.
The position supports audiovisual services for banquet and meeting events.
Equipment and event support
- Install, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and clean audiovisual, projection, lighting, and conference equipment.
- Oversee room setup, compare delivered equipment and room arrangements with event orders, and report diagram changes.
- Secure loose cables, label broken equipment, and report equipment problems to a manager or supervisor.
- Help guests use audiovisual equipment, promote services, monitor use, and secure equipment when not in use.
- Read and follow Marriott Visual Productions standard operating procedures.
Service and workplace standards
- Welcome guests, anticipate and respond to their service needs, communicate professionally, and support team goals.
- Follow company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Protect confidential information and company property and follow company and quality standards.
- The role involves moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and visually inspecting tools and equipment.
Desirable qualifications
- Secondary school diploma or GED equivalent is desirable.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is desirable.
- Supervisory experience is not required, and no license or certification is required.
