The position is full-time, non-management, and not remote.
AV equipment and event support
- Set up and oversee audiovisual equipment in banquet and meeting rooms, including projection, lighting, and conferencing systems.
- Check delivered equipment and room setup against the Banquet Event Order; report changes to event flowsheets to a manager or supervisor.
- Keep equipment operational; repair or clean it as needed, identify broken equipment, and report problems.
- Secure loose wires and cables; monitor equipment operation and break down, remove, and secure equipment when not in use.
- Help guests use AV equipment, explain its operation, and promote additional AV services.
- Follow the Marriott Visual Productions (MVP) SOP book.
Preferred qualifications and physical demands
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- The role involves moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

- Follow company safety, security, quality, and service policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and support team goals.
- Welcome guests, address their service needs, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
