The position supports audiovisual services for banquet and meeting events.
Equipment and event support
- Install, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and clean audiovisual, projection, lighting, and conference equipment.
- Oversee equipment setup in banquet and meeting rooms; confirm setups match event orders and report diagram changes.
- Secure and conceal cables; label broken equipment and report issues to a supervisor.
- Assist guests with equipment use, promote audiovisual services, monitor equipment, and secure unused items.
- Follow Marriott Visual Productions program procedures and inspect tools, equipment, or machinery.
Service, safety, and workplace conduct
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, communicate courteously, and support positive teamwork.
- Follow safety, security, company, and quality procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Protect confidential information and company property and maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance.
- The role involves handling loads of up to 23 kg and other reasonable related duties.
Requirements
- Able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move loads weighing up to 23 kg.
- Follow company safety, security, quality, and operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, complete uniform and professional appearance at work.
- Communicate clearly and courteously with guests and colleagues.
