Full-time, non-management Audio Visual Technician role in Doha, Qatar.
The position is not remote and supports event operations.
Audio-visual operations
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV, projection, lighting, and conferencing equipment.
- Oversee equipment setup in banquet and meeting rooms; verify delivered equipment and room setup against the Banquet Event Order.
- Maintain, repair, and clean equipment; identify broken items and report problems.
- Secure loose cables, update managers about flowsheet changes, monitor equipment, and safely break down and store equipment.
- Guide guests in equipment use and promote additional AV services.
- Follow the Marriott Visual Productions SOP and company safety, security, and quality procedures.
Preferred qualifications and physical needs
- At least 1 year of related experience is listed under preferred qualifications.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified.
- Must be able to handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
