What you will do

• Own architecture and make technical design and build-versus-buy decisions; guide the team and contribute to code on the hardest problems.
• Improve the team's AI-powered development lifecycle across specification, CI/CD, testing, observability, and tooling.
• Lead developers and researchers, supporting growth, delivery, focus, and customer-facing research outcomes.
• Prototype and validate opportunities with customers, and advance promising work when appropriate.

What you will bring

• Deep current engineering expertise, including architecture and delivery of non-trivial systems and the ability to work in code.
• Breadth across C#/.NET, REST/WebAPI, TypeScript, Angular or React, and Python for AI/ML; deep in most areas and able to ramp up on others.
• Experience with microservices, modular monoliths, CQRS, event-driven systems, and REST/OpenAPI APIs.
• Practical AI-native experience or intuition across LLMs, agent frameworks, AI coding tools, evaluations, and current model capabilities.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, testing, observability, developer tooling, and development lifecycle improvement.
• Ability to lead a small team, work through ambiguity, make decisions, and iterate.
• Comfort working in a bilingual French/English environment.

• Hybrid work with two days per week in the office at the Laval or Montreal offices.
