The role calls for technical-office experience, knowledge of RTA standards, and expertise in submissions, shop drawings, and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.
- Review issued-for-construction drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate technical issues with consultants, designers, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Prepare RFIs, material submittals, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai RTA requirements and project specifications.
- Coordinate technical matters for roads, utilities, and infrastructure works.
- Assist in resolving design discrepancies and site-related technical challenges.
- Review and coordinate as-built drawings and project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Previous Dubai RTA roads and infrastructure project experience is mandatory.
- Proven experience as a Technical Engineer or Technical Office Engineer with a civil construction contractor.
- Strong knowledge of shop drawings, technical submissions, method statements, and RFIs.
- Familiarity with RTA specifications, authority requirements, and approval procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Strong technical coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and benefits
- Pay is AED 18,000–25,000 per month.
- Benefits include employment visa, medical insurance, paid annual leave, and end-of-service benefits under UAE law; additional benefits are per company policy.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
