Alghanim International seeks an experienced Storekeeper for a building construction project described as being in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations at building construction sites.
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue construction materials according to approved procedures.
- Maintain records of material receipts, issues, stock balances, and inventory movements.
- Handle civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing materials.
- Prepare GRNs, MRRs, material issue vouchers, and stock registers.
- Coordinate material requirements with Site Engineers, Procurement, QA/QC, and project teams.
- Monitor stock levels, arrange replenishment, and prevent shortages.
- Conduct physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, housekeeping, and HSE compliance.
- Maintain records of tools, equipment, consumables, and material transfers.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of Storekeeper experience in building construction projects; UAE experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in building construction site stores is mandatory.
- Knowledge of reinforcement steel, cement, blocks, tiles, paints, waterproofing, MEP, and finishing materials.
- Experience in inventory management, stock reconciliation, and material documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and computerized inventory systems.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP software is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills; able to manage site store operations independently.
- Candidates with only retail, supermarket, or general warehouse experience and no building construction exposure will not be considered.
Compensation
- Monthly pay is AED 3,600–4,000.
