CSCEC Middle East is recruiting a Technical Engineer for its technical team on a large-scale high-rise towers project in Dubai.
Duties and responsibilities
- Review designs, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and modifications needed for prevailing site conditions.
- Review packages, coordinate subcontractor technical queries, and identify discrepancies before and after tendering.
- Manage structural and architectural draughtsmen preparing shop drawings.
- Coordinate MEP requirements.
- Analyze site material indents and submit requirements for approval.
- Evaluate construction delivery systems and cost-effective project completion plans.
- Oversee selection of contractors and consultants for specific project work.
- Review and prepare method statements for consultant submission.
- Attend weekly progress meetings with the client and consultant and resolve critical issues.
- Coordinate technical requirements and clearances with subcontractors, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- At least five years of experience on high-rise towers or large-scale projects.
