CSCEC Middle East is recruiting Construction Managers for finishing works on a large-scale high-rise tower project in Dubai, UAE.
Project planning and delivery
- Ensure construction activities follow the predetermined schedule and budget.
- Review project planning and budgets, identify required resources, and optimize the use of labor, materials, and equipment.
- Develop communication processes and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among project participants.
- Monitor construction progress, hold regular status meetings with subteams, and revise work plans when needed.
- Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Manage the budget, track expenses, and minimize project exposure and risk.
Site, compliance, and client coordination
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities and ensure valid NOCs from relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal and QEHS requirements.
- Ensure project documents are complete and review site reports; inspect construction sites regularly.
- Monitor client and consultant feedback, attend regular meetings with them, and support client satisfaction.
- Participate in QEHS training and awareness activities for staff and support accountability for QEHS performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of working experience in construction projects.
- Experience in finishing works.
