Role overview

CSCEC Middle East is recruiting an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead and manage the quality function for a large-scale project in Dubai.

The role focuses on construction quality management, including high-rise and mega-project work, inspections, testing, audits, ISO compliance, and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan and QA/QC procedures.
  • Lead the project QA/QC team and oversee daily quality operations; establish KPIs, performance metrics, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Conduct site inspections, surveillance, audits, and quality reviews.
  • Review specifications, IFC drawings, method statements, material submittals, and Inspection and Test Plans.
  • Ensure compliance with project and client requirements, ISO standards, local regulations, and company procedures.
  • Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
  • Manage inspection and testing systems for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, laboratories, and third-party inspection agencies.
  • Supervise material inspections, testing, and quality documentation; maintain logs, records, calibration registers, and traceability systems.
  • Conduct quality training and awareness sessions; lead internal audits and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Coordinate quality reporting and continuous improvement with corporate QA/QC and management teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of QA/QC experience on large-scale construction projects with reputable main contractors.
  • Strong experience in QA/QC management, high-rise or tower projects, and mega construction projects.
  • Strong experience with ISO 9001, internal audits, material inspection and testing, method statements, ITPs, and NCR management.
  • Strong experience in quality documentation and reporting, and consultant and client coordination.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
