Technical leadership and delivery
- Provide technical leadership to project teams working on water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and technical specialists to develop solutions and address project challenges.
- Ensure engineering standards, specifications, and best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide technical aspects of design, construction, and commissioning.
Knowledge and capacity building
- Develop strategies and repositories to capture and share expertise, lessons learned, technical documentation, design guidelines, and project deliverables.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and training programs for project teams.
- Identify competency gaps and training needs and develop tailored learning and development plans.
- Facilitate cross-training and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Quality, governance, and stakeholders
- Implement quality assurance processes and review mechanisms for technical deliverables.
- Conduct technical reviews, audits, and assessments to validate compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Establish technical governance frameworks, standards, and guidelines for water and wastewater projects.
- Monitor project metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks; liaise with stakeholders and communicate technical updates and risks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering.
- Expertise in project management information systems.
- Strong technical knowledge related to infrastructure, databases, and network background.
- Experience in change management and technology enablement.
- Familiarity with Oracle products for capital projects, procurement, and finance.
