Team Leader - Warehouse

Role purpose

Operations and fulfillment

• Supervise receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch; allocate tasks based on workload and priorities.
• Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch within defined SLAs.
• Monitor productivity, order accuracy, fulfillment time, and on-time dispatch during the shift.
• Ensure inventory is properly stored, handled, and updated in the WMS/ERP system.
• Conduct stock checks and cycle counts; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor stock availability and report shortages, damages, expiries, and other inventory issues.

Team and coordination duties

• Ensure staff follow SOPs and safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Guide, train, and support associates on daily processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with Inventory, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Last-Mile teams to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor order readiness and coordinate handover to the Last-Mile team or riders.
• Escalate operational issues, system errors, stock discrepancies, and service delays.
• Maintain housekeeping and an organized, operationally ready warehouse or dark store.
• Support operational reports, shift handovers, audits, administrative requirements, and practical process improvements.

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in quick commerce, warehouse, retail, dark-store, or fulfillment operations.
• Previous team coordination or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of WMS/ERP, inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team-handling skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and in shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
