Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and grow a team of mechanical engineers and modelers
- Take ownership of delivery of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems ensuring technical excellence, timely execution, and budget adherence
- Ensure designs comply with NFPA standards and local authority regulations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai
- Prepare and review technical reports and authority submission documents
- Apply advanced tools for heat load calculations, energy modeling, and BIM (Revit)
- Collaborate with Business Group Leader on strategic planning, proposals, resource management, and business development
- Act as a mentor and role model, fostering a collaborative, knowledge sharing environment
Requirements
- Experience leading a team of mechanical engineers and modelers
- Expertise in HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and local authority regulations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai
- Proficiency in heat load calculations, energy modeling, and BIM (Revit)
- Experience in preparing technical reports and authority submissions
- Strong collaboration and mentoring skills

Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Team Leader to join our Building engineering team and take a strategic leadership role in driving the growth and development of our Mechanical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and grow a talented team of mechanical engineers and modelers, building a strong technical culture and expanding our Mechanical capability in the UAE.
- Take ownership of the delivery of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems, ensuring technical excellence, timely execution, and budget adherence.
- Ensure all designs comply with NFPA standards and local authority regulations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
- Prepare and review technical reports, authority submission documents, and liaise directly with local authorities to ensure smooth approvals.
- Apply advanced tools for heat load calculations, energy modeling, and BIM (Revit) to enhance design quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Business Group Leader on strategic planning, proposals, resource management, and business development.
- Act as a mentor and role model, fostering a collaborative, knowledge sharing environment that supports professional growth and team cohesion.
