- Plan and execute contaminated sites investigation and remediation design to bring sites to closure.

- Provide field and office mentoring of junior environmental practitioners.
- Assist with project resourcing, systems and processes to ensure timely delivery.
- Nurture client relationships and engage with industry networks.
- Maintain health, safety, quality and environment key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Bachelor and/or master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, Geology or related discipline
- 3 to 7 years of experience with contaminated site assessments, remediation and reclamation
- Experience working on mining and/or oil & gas projects preferred
- Expertise in field assessments, technical reporting and project management
- Valid driver's license
- PEng or PGeo license a plus

Job Description
- GHD is seeking an Environmental Project Coordinator to join our Environmental Assessment and Remediation Group.
- You will support Project Managers and Project Directors in the execution of major mining and oil & gas projects.
- The role can be based in any of our offices in Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, Edmonton, Halifax, Fredericton, St. John's, Calgary, or Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities
- Contaminated Sites Investigation and Remediation Design: Planning and execution of engineering and scientific solutions to bring sites to closure.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in a team environment working closely with other Project Coordinators, Project Managers, Project Directors and Technical Leads.
- Professional Supervision: Provide effective field and office mentoring of more junior environmental practitioners.
- Project Coordination: Assist PMs and PDs from proposal through to execution.
- Client & Customer Engagement: Nurture important client relationships and engaging with industry networks.
- Health, Safety, Quality and Environment: Maintain health, safety, quality and environment key performance indicators.
- Culture of Innovation: Drive a culture of innovation by creating multistakeholder solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor and/or master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, Geology or related discipline.
- PEng or PGeo license a plus.
- 3 to 7 years of experience with contaminated site assessments, remediation and reclamation.
- Experience working on mining and/or oil & gas projects preferred.
- Expertise in field assessments, technical reporting and project management.
- Valid driver's license.
Salary Range
- The salary range for this position is $67,000 to $112,500.
