ÚCHÈ is a Dubai-based contemporary fashion brand founded by Nigerian designer Uche Joy Orah, whose name means “idea” in Igbo.

Since launching its first capsule collection in 2019, the brand has gained international recognition, including features in publications such as L'Officiel Belgium. ÚCHÈ is known as a forward-thinking, bold, innovative, and sustainable ready-to-wear label, offering original, gender-fluid, and conceptual designs.

The brand focuses on limited-edition collections to maintain exclusivity and ensure that each piece feels fresh and exciting.

Team members are invited to contribute to the creative “ÚCHÈ Universe” and help shape its evolving ideas and aesthetics.

This is a full-time, on-site Tailor Master role for men’s and women’s garments based in Dubai.

The Tailor Master will be responsible for creating, altering, and finishing bespoke and ready-to-wear pieces, ensuring high-quality construction and fit across all genders.

Daily tasks include taking accurate body measurements, conducting fittings, making pattern adjustments, and performing detailed hand and machine sewing.

The role also involves advising clients on style, fabric, and fit, collaborating with the design team to translate concepts into wearable garments, and maintaining quality standards consistent with the brand’s aesthetic.

The Tailor Master will supervise and guide junior tailors when needed, manage workflow to meet production deadlines, and maintain a well-organized, safe, and clean work area.
