Role Description

The Clothing Technologist For Men And Women is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.

This role involves overseeing garment construction from concept to final product, ensuring that designs are translated into high-quality, well-fitting garments across gender-fluid collections.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with designer on technical specifications, selecting appropriate textiles, performing fittings, and conducting quality control checks throughout the production process.

The Clothing Technologist will work closely with pattern makers and production teams to resolve technical issues, optimize manufacturing methods, and uphold brand standards for innovation and sustainability.

The role also requires clear communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timelines, quality benchmarks, and collection objectives are met.

Qualifications

  • Strong garment construction skills, including understanding of patterns, sewing techniques, and manufacturing processes.
  • Expertise in fitting, with the ability to assess garment fit on diverse body types and make precise technical adjustments.
  • Knowledge of textiles, including fabric properties, performance, sustainability considerations, and suitability for different designs.
  • Experience in quality control, with the ability to implement and monitor standards across sampling and production runs.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with designers, production teams, and suppliers.
  • Relevant experience as a clothing technologist, pattern technologist, or similar technical fashion role, ideally in RTW or designer brands.
  • Diploma or degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, or a related field .
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to gender-neutral, inclusive design.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in fashion and willingness to support innovative, eco-conscious solutions.
