Lead delivery of Data and AI projects and initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Own project planning, execution, governance, and closure.
- Engage stakeholders across business units, IT teams, and external partners.
- Drive Agile governance through sprint planning, backlog management, and JIRA tracking.
- Facilitate project review groups, updates, risk mitigation, and decision-making.
- Coordinate vendors and oversee timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations across workstreams.
- Deliver Data, Analytics, Governance, and AI initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Required skills and experience
- Minimum 12+ years managing large-scale Data and AI projects, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Strong technical understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and AI-driven solutions.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholders and deliver under tight timelines.
- Hands-on expertise in Agile project management, JIRA, and collaboration tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
- GCC and/or Qatar banking experience is highly desirable.
Evaluation criteria
- Profiles are assessed for depth of Data, Analytics, and AI project experience.
- Assessment includes leadership in large-scale transformation programs and banking or financial services exposure, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.
- Assessment includes Agile and JIRA experience, stakeholder and vendor management, and availability for immediate project timelines.
