Experience and domain knowledge
- 7+ years of software testing experience, including significant UAT leadership and business validation experience.
- Strong experience in Banking, FinTech, Core Banking, Digital Banking, or Lending environments.
- Strong understanding of Retail Assets, Lending, LOS, and LMS business processes.
- Experience with Finacle Core Banking, preferably Finacle 7x/10x/10.2.x; exposure to 11x is an advantage.
Products and testing tools
- Testing experience with Personal Loans, Auto Loans, Home Finance, and Microfinance is sought; Islamic financing experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of conventional and Sharia-compliant banking processes.
- Validate accounting or ledger entries and banking transactions using Oracle SQL; validate REST APIs using Postman.
- Experience with JIRA, HP ALM/QC, Spira, or similar test and defect management tools.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, STLC, defect lifecycle, and risk-based testing.
UAT and validation work
- Plan and execute UAT and business validation, manage defects, coordinate stakeholders, and support sign-off.
- Test lending calculations, including loan eligibility, affordability, EMI, interest or profit, fees, penalties, settlement, and repayment.
Communication and leadership
- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, analytical, and leadership skills.
