The employer is seeking a Surveyor Engineer to join its team in Sharjah.
The role covers project-site measurements, surveys, and survey information for design, estimation, fabrication, and installation teams.
Site Surveying and Measurement
- Visit project sites and conduct detailed measurements and surveys.
- Measure areas, dimensions, levels, structural points, and existing conditions.
- Prepare accurate site measurement reports and sketches.
- Use surveying equipment and tools to collect site data.
- Take clear site photographs and maintain proper survey records.
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with design, estimation, engineering, and installation teams.
- Check site conditions before fabrication and installation.
- Review drawings against actual site conditions and highlight discrepancies.
- Identify site issues that may affect projects and report them to the concerned team.
- Support engineering and project teams during site inspections.
Accuracy and Safety
- Ensure all measurements are accurate before fabrication or installation use.
- Follow company safety procedures while working on project sites.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, surveying, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in surveying or site measurement.
- Experience in tensile structures, tents, shades, steel structures, or construction is advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and reading technical drawings.
- Experience with surveying instruments and site measurement tools.
- Ability to understand structural and architectural drawings.
- Good communication, coordination, and attention to detail.
Workplace
- The role involves visiting project sites across the UAE.
- Work location is in person.
Compensation
- Pay starts from AED 3,500 per month.
Employment
The position is full-time.
