Ensure products are available in the right inventory, place, and time by translating demand forecasts into practical supply plans.
Own planning recommendations that balance service levels, lead times, and working capital from supplier to customer.
Supply planning responsibilities
- Own end-to-end planning for an assigned product, supplier, and market portfolio; translate forecasts into purchasing and replenishment plans.
- Manage inventory, safety stock, order sizing, expedites, allocation, stockouts, excess stock, and planning parameters.
- Monitor supplier lead times, capacity, reliability, and fill rates; surface constraints and recommend corrective actions.
- Present risks and recommendations for S&OP; coordinate launches, transitions, and discontinuations with partner teams.
- Work with Data Science and Engineering to improve in-house planning tools.
Candidate qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in supply planning, inventory planning, operations, or supply chain analytics in retail, e-commerce, or CPG.
- Experience in complex environments involving global sourcing and long lead times.
- Strong knowledge of replenishment, safety stock, lead times, MOQs, and service-level trade-offs.
- Advanced Excel, working SQL knowledge, and comfort with planning systems and BI tools.
- Experience with automation and AI-enabled tools; operational understanding of sourcing, production, warehouses, and transportation.
- Strong attention to detail, structured communication, and a bias for action.
