Supervises and coordinates cooks and kitchen workers at The St. Regis Residence in Doha, Qatar.

Kitchen operations
- Coordinate kitchen staff and assist them with tasks and needed supplies.
- Determine food presentation and decorative displays; ensure portions and plating are appropriate.
- Monitor food preparation quantities, kitchen inventory, and food quality.
- Inform Food and Beverage staff about rejected products and menu specials; prepare special meals or substitute products.
- Maintain kitchen records for food safety and food-product programs and report items that do not meet specifications.
Staff and guest service
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, discipline, and employee motivation.
- Address guest service needs, communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality and protect company property.
Desirable qualifications
- A degree from a technical, trade, or vocational school is desirable.
- Four to six years of related work experience is desirable.
- At least two years of supervisory experience is desirable.
Work conditions
- The role is based at a hotel residence in Doha and is not remote.
- Requires prolonged standing, sitting, or walking; reaching, bending, and twisting; and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Safety and conduct
Follow company and safety policies, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
