Role duties
- Build rapport with children and parents using the child activity services.
- Organize arts and crafts, lead games, read stories, and sing songs.
- Promote youth programs and assist parents with registration.
- Keep facilities and equipment clean, neat, and well maintained.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and complete safety training.
- Welcome guests, address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and provide courteous service.
- Communicate professionally, answer telephones appropriately, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality and a professional appearance, protect assets, and meet quality standards.
- Visually inspect equipment and perform physical duties, including lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Required qualifications
- CPR certification.
- First Aid certification.
- Recreation equipment qualification or certification.
- Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is specified as necessary.
