Store and inventory duties
- Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark it for placement, and deliver it to the appropriate department.
- Stack merchandise on pallets or carts; complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
- Notify a manager or supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.
- Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock.
- Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, quality, and dates; refuse damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
- Follow food safety and handling policies across food-related areas.
- Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
- Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place them in proper storage areas.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
- The role involves handling loads up to 50 pounds and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or a full shift.
- The role involves reading small print and moving through confined, elevated, uneven, or slippery areas and on stairs or ramps.

- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
- Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and meet quality standards.
- Communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
