Supermarket Manager

About This Role

• Oversee daily supermarket operations, ensuring smooth store performance and customer satisfaction
• Manage food inventory levels, including ordering, stock replenishment, and inventory accuracy
• Supervise receiving operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and quality-checked deliveries
• Coordinate warehouse activities, including proper storage, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and space optimization
• Monitor perishable goods to minimize waste, spoilage, and shrinkage
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Lead, train, and schedule store and warehouse staff to meet operational targets
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure consistent product availability
• Analyze sales and inventory reports to forecast demand and optimize stock levels
• Maintain store merchandising standards and ensure product availability on shelves
• Implement loss prevention measures and control operational costs
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations
