Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages (coffee, tea, specialty drinks, cocktail juice) following standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests, answering questions, and recommending menu items.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at the workstation and service area.
- Assist with bakery product upselling and cross-selling.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately at the POS system.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; notify management of shortages.
- Follow health and safety guidelines as per UAE food handling standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service/food & beverage role preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and team spirit.
