Seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with at least 8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, architectural coordination, and site construction.
Experience with high-end residential villas, commercial buildings, and/or high-rise projects is sought, including hands-on work from design coordination through project completion.
Key responsibilities
- Review and coordinate structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and construction details.
- Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, Qatar regulations, and relevant engineering codes.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical documentation.
- Resolve site technical issues and coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and MEP teams.
- Monitor construction quality, workmanship, progress, and structural and architectural coordination.
- Provide technical guidance and prepare inspection reports and project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience; 10+ years preferred.
- Strong hands-on site and construction experience.
- Experience with residential villas, commercial buildings, and/or high-rise projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit and structural design software are advantageous.
- Good knowledge of Qatar construction regulations and international engineering standards.
- Valid Qatar ID and UPDA/MMUP certification are mandatory.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
- A valid Qatar driving licence is preferred.
