Full-time, on-site Computer Hardware Technician role based in Sharjah Emirate, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and replace laptop components and cards to meet performance and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software and perform preventive maintenance.
- Handle printer support when required, including installation, configuration, and basic maintenance.
- Support internal teams or customers, document repairs, and maintain inventory of parts and tools.
- Understand user issues, explain resolutions, and help ensure service satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills for laptop hardware, software, and card-level repairs.
- Printer support skills, including installation, configuration, and basic maintenance, are required.
- Customer service and communication skills are needed to interact with users and provide clear updates.
- Ability to read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and follow repair and quality-check procedures.
- Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently and with a team are expected.
- A diploma or certification in electronics, computer hardware engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Laptop repair, component replacement, and ESD-safe handling experience are beneficial.
- Familiarity with operating system installation, configuration, and data backup is an advantage.
