Role overview

Inventory operations

• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Record materials received, issued, returned, and transferred; issue items against approved requests or work orders.
• Maintain stock levels, monitor minimum and maximum quantities, and raise replenishment requirements in time.
• Organize materials by category, location, and identification code.
• Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, civil, and general maintenance inventories.
• Track tools and equipment issued to technicians; conduct physical counts and reconcile stock with system records.
• Identify and report damaged, obsolete, expired, slow-moving, or missing materials.

Coordination and controls

• Coordinate material requirements with FM engineers, supervisors, technicians, Procurement, and Operations.
• Maintain GRNs, delivery notes, material issue vouchers, return notes, and stock reports; update transactions in ERP, CMMS, or inventory systems.
• Handle chemicals and hazardous materials safely, and keep the store clean, organized, and safe.
• Support emergency and preventive or corrective maintenance by keeping required materials and spare parts available.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and follow inventory control, HSE, quality, and FM procedures.

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma, high school certificate, or equivalent is listed; a bachelor's degree is separately marked required.
• Minimum 3–5 years as a storekeeper is stated, preferably in Facilities Management; a separate experience section requires 8 years of FM experience.
• Good knowledge of FM materials, spare parts, tools, consumables, and maintenance materials across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and civil disciplines.
• CMMS, ERP, or inventory-system experience is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office, and strong stock control, receiving, issuance, and reconciliation knowledge.

Pay

• Pay is listed as starting at QAR 1 per month.
