The HSE/Safety Manager oversees health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple facilities management sites.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and implement HSE policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar HSE regulations, client requirements, and international standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor HSE performance, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
- Deliver safety training and promote a strong safety culture across project teams.
- Coordinate with clients, management, and site teams to ensure safe operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant HSE experience; facilities management experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in an HSE leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk management, and incident investigation.
- Relevant HSE certification such as NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Candidates currently residing in Qatar are preferred.
Compensation
- Pay starts at QAR 1.00 per month.
