Artisan Gourmet Foodstuff Trading LLC is hiring a Storekeeper to manage warehouse and inventory operations in Dubai, UAE.
The role handles stock records, receiving, storage, and dispatch in a foodstuff/FMCG or similar warehouse environment.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and inspect goods against LPOs, invoices, and delivery documents; check quantities, condition, batch numbers, and expiry dates.
- Arrange and store products according to storage requirements; maintain inventory records and stock movement information.
- Prepare and issue goods against approved requests or orders; monitor stock and report shortages, damage, and discrepancies.
- Conduct stock counts, reconcile differences, and apply FIFO/FEFO, especially for food products.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, hygiene, organization, documentation, and records.
- Coordinate with purchasing, sales, accounts, and delivery teams; handle chilled, frozen, and ambient products appropriately.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous storekeeper or warehouse storekeeper experience; foodstuff or FMCG experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and FIFO/FEFO.
- Basic computer skills; inventory, POS, or ERP system experience is advantageous.
- Good communication and organizational skills; able to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Physically fit and able to handle warehouse activities; UAE experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 1,800 per month; salary is based on experience.
Workplace and employment
- Full-time role in Dubai, UAE; work location is in person.
