Oversee the company’s financial operations, accounting, reporting, and financial controls.
The employer seeks experience in FMCG/food trading or a similar business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations; supervise the accounting team and review its work.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis.
- Manage AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and cash flow; monitor collections and supplier payments.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Review inventory valuation, stock adjustments, and product costing; ensure accurate recording of sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory transactions.
- Coordinate audits and ensure timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other applicable financial requirements.
- Develop financial controls and procedures; provide management with insights and business decision support.
- Manage and improve accounting/ERP systems and financial processes; lead the accounts and finance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; proven experience as a Finance Manager.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- UAE experience with VAT and Corporate Tax is preferred.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software; QuickBooks experience is an advantage.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills; excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- FMCG/food trading experience is preferred.
Pay
- Description states AED 5,000.00 per year; the structured salary field states AED 5,000/month.
Work Location
- Dubai, UAE; work location is in person.
