The role involves preparing a variety of bakery products while maintaining quality, hygiene, and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare breads, buns, croissants, Danish, and other bakery products to approved recipes.
- Follow standard recipes, production methods, and portion specifications.
- Maintain consistent product quality, taste, texture, and appearance.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely.
- Measure and prepare ingredients accurately.
- Monitor proofing, baking temperatures, and baking times.
- Handle and store food properly and rotate ingredients.
- Minimize wastage and use raw materials efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the production area and equipment.
- Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Complete assigned production requirements within the scheduled time.
- Report quality, equipment, or raw material issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a baker in a bakery, pastry kitchen, or food production environment.
- Good knowledge of bread and bakery production techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and production specifications accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Teamwork, discipline, and time-management skills.
- UAE experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,546.02–2,000 per month.
